Final-year capstone project for the City of Montreal: a platform allowing the public, researchers, and administrators to catalog and query university research projects funded by the City in natural language, previously untracked in any centralized system.

Multi-Store System

Academic project — microservices architecture · 2025

Transforming a monolithic multi-store management system into a microservices architecture (FastAPI, PostgreSQL, Docker) with an orchestrated Saga pattern for distributed transactions, an API Gateway, and an observability stack (Kong, Prometheus, Grafana). Performance validated with K6 load testing: p95 latency below 105 ms, 99.98% availability, and throughput of 1,200 requests per second under a load of 300 concurrent users.
